  • U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, EDGE ENVIRONMENTAL, FRAM OIL AND GAS PROJECT EIS, Mesa and Montrose Counties, Colorado. Preparation of the groundwater and surface water sections of the EIS. (In Progress)
  • U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, EDGE ENVIRONMENTAL, GOLDEN EAGLE PROJECT EIS, Green River Wyoming. Preparation of the groundwater and surface water sections of the EIS. (In Progress)
  • VICTORIA RESOURCES, GATEWAY GOLD COMPANY, BIG SPRINGS MINE PROJECT, Elko Nevada. Completed a hydrogeologic study of the dewatering of the Big Springs mines open pits, and effects on the local drainages including the North Fork of the Humboldt River. Completion of annual hydrology reports for the Project.
  • NEVADA COPPER AND TETRATECH, PUMPKIN HOLLOW PROJECT, Yerington Nevada. Hydrogeologic dewatering evaluation study for a large open pit and underground copper mine complex. Designed, supervised, and managed and multi-month field test program that included packer permeability testing of very deep boreholes and completion of several long-term pumping tests with multiple observation wells. Instructed company personnel how to complete the hydrogeologic monitoring program.
  • ALASKA GOLD COMPANY, NOVAGOLD, ROCK CREEK MINE, Nome, Alaska. Developed a new groundwater injection system and completed a ground water flow model (MODFLOW) to help in the water management and water balance for the entire mine including the tailing disposal site, open pit mine and ground water injection system. The model is currently be used to assist with the closure design for the tailings storage facility. HydroGeo also assisted in the redesigned a stormwater diversion ditch to alleviate sediment discharge issues.
  • EAGLE INDUSTRIAL MINERALS, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. Installation and monitoring of surface water flow stations and monitoring wells for baseline data collection for permitting mining operations on the proposed Poorman Iron Mining Project.
  • GREAT BASIN ECOLOGY, GATEWAY GOLD AND USFS, BIG SPRINGS EXPLORATION PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT, Elko County, Nevada. Completed a Surface and Ground Water Hydrology Technical Report on the Project that will be used in support of the Environmental Impact Statement preparation. The work included the assessment of exploration drilling impacts to local surface and ground water resources and pit lake dewatering.
  • TETRATECH, TECK COMINCO, AND EPA, RED DOG MINE AQQALUK PROJECT, SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT, NW Alaska. Prepared the ground water hydrology section of the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Red Dog Mine Expansion Project. The work involved assessment of potential mine related impacts to the ground water hydrology of the arctic permafrost.
  • CRESTED BUTTE MOUNTAIN RESORT, SNODGRASS MOUNTAIN SKI AREA EXPANSION, Gunnison County Colorado. Completed the surface and ground water hydrology analysis for the proposed ski area expansion area as part of the Snodgrass Landslide Study being prepared for the USFS to support development of an Environmental Impact Statement for the Project.
  • U.S. FOREST SERVICE, MONTANORE PROJECT, Kootenai National Forest Montana. Completed a Peer Review of the conceptual and numerical ground water models for the Montanore Environmental Impact Statement for the USFS.
  • EDGE ENVIRONMENTAL AND BLM, PINEDALE ANTICLINE PROJECT, Sublette County, Wyoming. Completed a regional watershed modeling study using the Kinematic Runoff and Erosion Model (KINEROS2) and SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool), developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). These studies were used to access potential environmental impact for surface water sections of a supplemental Environmental Impact Statement, for the Pinedale field office of the BLM.
  • TRC MARIAH, AND BLM, JONAH AND SOUTH PINEY PROJECTS, Sublette County, Wyoming. Completed Ground water modeling (MODFLOW) and watershed modeling studies using the Kinematic Runoff and Erosion Model (KINEROS2), developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). These studies were used to access potential environmental impact for surface water sections of two Environmental Impact Statements, for the Pinedale field office of the BLM.
  • ANADARKO PETROLEUM CORPORATION, Carbon County, Wyoming. Completed a Surface Water Technical Report for the Hanna Draw Coalbed Natural Gas Pilot Project. The study analyzed potential flow and chemical (salinity) changes to Seminoe Reservoir and the North Platte River resulting from project operations and cumulative impacts from other area projects using a site specific mixing model developed by the EPA. This study will be used to support development of an Environmental Impact Statement for the Project.
  • SEMINOE ROAD COAL BED METHANE PROJECT, Wyoming Completed surface and ground water sections of the Environmental Assessment and Water Management Plan for a Coal Bed Methane Pilot Project, for the Rawlins field office of the BLM.
  • TRC AND EPA, PHOENIX EXPANSION LATERAL PIPELINE PROJECT, Arizona. Completed surface and ground water sections of the Environmental Impact Assessment of this large pipeline project for Transwestern Pipeline Company.
  • STONE ENERGY, INC., DUGOUT CREEK PROJECT, Carbon County, Utah. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the 2004 Environmental Assessment. The Bureau of Land Management.
  • SRK CONSULTANTS, INC, COEUR ROCHESTER, INC., ROCHESTER SILVER AND GOLD MINE, Pershing County, Nevada. Completed the surface and ground water sections of the Rochester Mine Closure Environmental Impact Statement.
  • COEUR ROCHESTER, INC., Rochester Silver and Gold Mine, Pershing County, Nevada. Completed detailed analysis of seepage from the Project's heap leach facilities and developed a Plan of Action and Remedial Action Plan that was accepted by the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection (NDEP).
  • MINAS CONGAS S.R.L., MINAS CONGA MINE PROJECT, Cajamarca, Peru. Completed a pre-feasibility level environmental analysis (EA) of the Minas Conga Mine Project in Northern Peru. The document met all International Finance Corporation (IFC) "Bankable" requirements for preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
  • WESTPORT RESOURCES CORPORATION, CARDINAL DRAW PROJECT. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the EA. The Bureau of Land Management and Jon Holst and Associates manage this in-progress project.
  • DUDLEY AND ASSOCIATES LLC, SEMINOE ROAD GAS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the EIS. The Bureau of Land Management and SEI manage this in-progress project.
  • ALCOA ALUMINUM COMPANY, THREE OAKS MINE EXPANSION PROJECT. San Antonio, Texas. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the EIS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and ENSR managed this recently completed project which was completed on schedule and within budget.
  • NEWMONT GOLD COMPANY, GOLD QUARRY MINE SOUTH OPERATIONS AREA PROJECT AREA EXPANSION, Elko and Eureka Counties, Nevada. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the EIS. The Bureau of Land Management and Greystone manage the project.
  • NEWMONT GOLD COMPANY AND BARRICK GOLD COMPANY, CUMMULATIVE IMPACT ANALYSIS OF DEWATERING AND WATER MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS FOR THE BETZE PROJECT, SOUTH AREA OPERATIONS AREA PROJECT, AND LEEVILLE PROJECT. North Central Nevada. The Bureau of Land Management, ENSR, and Greystone managed the project.
  • NORTH FORK COAL MINES, Delta and Gunnison Counties, Colorado. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the EIS. The U.S.D.I Bureau of Land Management and U.S.D.A. Forest Service managed this recently completed project, and project was completed within schedule and on budget.
  • U.S. FOREST SERVICE, ENERGY WEST MINING COMPANY, AND DAVID EVAN AND ASSOCIATES. Surface water sections of an EIS, including a study of the mining related impacts, including subsidence, on surface water quality and quantity for the Cottonwood Coal Lease Tract, Emery County, Utah. The on-going project involves preparation of preliminary and final EISs and extensive coordination with the USFS, BLM, and Utah State Agencies.
  • U.S. FOREST SERVICE and BATTLE MOUNTAIN GOLD COMPANY. Surface and ground water portions of an extensive EIS including a study of the mining impacts on surface water quality and quantity, pit-lake filling, water quality, and overflow for the Crown Jewel Gold Project, Okanogan County, Washington. The project involved preparation of preliminary and final EISs and extensive coordination with the USFS, WA Department of Ecology, BLM., USFWS, EPA, and COE.
  • USMX INC., and SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION. THUNDER MOUNTAIN PROJECT, Valley County, Idaho. Surface and ground water parts of an EIS for the proposed Dewey Open Pit Gold Mine.
  • KENSINGTON VENTURE PARTNERS, and U.S. FOREST SERVICE. KENSINGTON UNDERGROUND GOLD MINE, Tongass National Forest, North of Juneau, Alaska. Surface and ground water sections of the EIS for the proposed Kensington underground gold mine.
  • U.S. FOREST SERVICE, STIBNITE MINE INC., and DAKOTA MINING CORPORATION. STIBNITE OPEN PIT GOLD MINES, Valley County, Idaho. Surface and ground water study for the completion of EIS involving detailed surface water hydrologic and geomorphic investigations and extensive coordination with the USFS, COE, USFWS, and state agencies.
  • U.S. BLM and SANTA FE PACIFIC GOLD CORPORATION. Surface and ground water portions of an EIS for the Mule Canyon Project, Lander County, Nevada.
  • MERIDIAN MINERALS, INC. , US FOREST SERVICE (SALMON NATIONAL FOREST), BEARTRACK OPEN PIT GOLD MINE, Lemhi County, Idaho. Surface and ground water sections of the EIS including sediment yield modeling for the EIS.
  • HECLA MINING COMPANY AND U.S. BLM, ROSEBUD GOLD MINE, Pershing County, Nevada. EIA for the proposed underground gold mine. Study included surface, ground water, and geochemical sections.
  • ECHO BAY MINERALS COMPANY. North LAMEFOOT MINE EXPANSION, Republic, Washington. Surface and ground water characterization and impact study and sections of the Environmental Assessment.
  • ECHO BAY MINERALS COMPANY. LAMEFOOT MINE EXPANSION, Republic, Washington. Surface and ground water characterization and impact study and sections of the Environmental Assessment.
  • ECHO BAY EXPLORATION, INC., and ACZ INC. Kettle River and Lookout Mountain Underground Gold Mines; Curlew, Washington. Surface and ground water baseline study, and sections of the EIS.
  • CLIMAX MOLYBDENUM COMPANY AND SEI, Summit County, Colorado. Completed surface water portions of an Environmental Assessment for the Henderson 2000 Project involved the construction of a tramway from the Henderson mine to the mill. Provided a hydrology study for the 404 permit that described the preliminary design and water supply for a constructed wetland.
